Our Last Day .....

On our last night we took a walk on the Corniche. Jenn's apartment is the 2nd clump of buildings from the left.

This is the Islamic Education Center.

This is the culprit restaurant where we think we got sick.

It's a beautiful building.

The foyer going in to the restaurant.

The courtyard.

Something Deb wanted to have over here was a cup of Turkish Coffee.

Somewhere on this table is "poison"!!!!!!! It was all so beautiful - the food, the setting, the atmosphere and the food was delicious when we ate it. It just hit us afterwards.

Almost every table had one of the 'smoking' machines. If you wanted to smoke, they'd come by & put hot coals in it. There is water in the bottom and I guess when you puff on it, it bubbles the water & it draws up through that middle section (where the tobacco is, maybe?) and the coals are in the copper top. Anyway, I've heard that you get a direct nicotaine hit from these!

Our table was right behind me, so we had an absolutely beautiful view from there.

Some of the fountains on the Corniche walk. We stopped by again on way home from the restaurant when it was already dark.

This a brand new museum that is supposed to open the 1st of Dec. Sure wish we could have seen it.

A perfect sunset for an "almost" perfect day, at the end of a perfect trip.
