Jennifer, Alyson, Daudi & I took a dolphin boat ride the day before convention started. This is a Dhow that was anchored at the dock also. Some of them are really, really fancy & you can rent them to take a cruise out on the Gulf.
Little Daudi was such a trooper to wear this life vest. He could hardly move his head at all but he left it on for the whole trip of 3 hours.
After riding out for about 30 minutes, there were the dolphins! So many of them & they kept bobbing up. We spent another 45 minutes there just taking pictures. There were 17 of us on board.
There were several fishermen in the area also. And they would throw over some little fish and it kept the dolphins in that area.
Not this fish! But some that were quite a bit smaller.
