Church meeting in Muscat, Oman

This is the home in Muscat, Oman where our 2nd church convention was held. It was a 2-day convention & there were about 25 people there plus the 6 workers. There were 4 ladies from the U.S. who were doing a tour of the middle east & they were there for just the 1st day, then they had to catch a plane for their next stop which was Yemen! We all thought that was sort of a dangerous stop. The next day there was a family of 4 that came who sort of replaced the 4 ladies.

This is the front yard of the home where we had our snack between the 2 meetings and then there was a meal after the afternoon meeting. We brought dessert since it was hard for us to fix sandwiches, etc. from our hotel! The 6 workers.

A delightful couple who lived in Oman but over the mountain from Muscat & so came quite a distance. I think their names were Kishahr & Ruth.
The 4 ladies from the U.S. The one on the right is from San Francisco, and one of the others knew some very good friends of Deb's from Oregon!! Such a small world.
