Here's John (in case you can't tell) in his full 'grave-walking paraphanelia!!). Notice the broom in hand; the paintbrush in back pocket; the cornstarch in other hand. What you can't see is the pruner in other pocket that's very necessary for cutting back bushes. As you can see, he doesn't need that very much in these cemeteries in Texas. Pretty dry & bare.
What's new are the suspenders - John has lost weight (trying to figure out what's causing his hives, he cut out all flour products). Also, very necessary is the wide-brimmed hat to keep sun off face & neck.
Now John is almost certain that he's related to the famous Roy Acuff family!! Roy Acuff was actually born & raised in the same county in TN where John's Loy family came from before moving to IL.
This is quite interesting, too, from a TX cemetery:
