Pecos, TX

A really, really windy day here - looking out the RV window.

Shaggy John!!!!! ........ time to get out the clippers. We keep so busy that we kept forgetting to cut his hair.

This should last awhile!!

One of the fun things about traveling is finding good restaurants. This one is sort of a hole in the wall in Monahans, not far from Pecos. It was gooooooooood!!!! We had chicken fried steak with gravy, real mashed potatoes, green beans, home made bread and .......... strawberry cake! All for $6.95. These small town cafes have the best lunch specials and usually include dessert. We watch to see if a lot of cars are parked in front - that's usually a good indication it's good food. And this one even had a Sheriff's care parked in front! One drawback here in Texas - there doesn't seem to be a "No Smoking" law for any of the eating places, so you have to put up with that cigarett smoke. Ugh!!!!
