This is our last day in Texas and finally got to a place with some Longhorns! I was afraid I wouldn't get to see any this year.
There was a thunderstorm that went through here last night & left lots of rain again along with lots of wind. Tornado warnings came with it but we were just on the edge of it and the tornadoes ended up in OK instead - just north of us. But it left some of the cemeteries very messy! The mud on my boots was awful - real red & clayey.
Today we drove up into Moyers, OK (only about 30 miles from the campground) to revisit some cemeteries where John's great-uncle, Andrew Loy's family are buried. We were there about 4 years ago but that was before my
'digital' camera so we only had kodak prints of them. Now they will be forever in the computer!
