Detailed building on the quilt ....

These are the pictures that were made from photos that I sent of my grandparents "homestead" in Montana. It is all pieced together with different material and it is not the photos imprinted on the quilt! It still just blows me away to look at these! I absolutely love it!!! Click on the picture to see the wonderful detail. If you look real hard you can even see a washtub hanging on the wall beside the door of the sod house!
