From Paris, TX

Here we are in Lamar Co, TX and it's been raining and raining. We were hoping to get lots of cemeteries done here this year since I am custodian of this county on the U.S. Cemetery Project.com. Last year we photographed 13 cemeteries from here. So far ... between showers ... we've managed to do one!! Hey, Reese, check out my boots!! One great advantage with rain showers - the wildflowers in the cemeteries are blooming like crazy! And so many varieties.

And it brings out the water critters, too. This snapping turtle was on the highway.
