We had quite a day today and it turned out to be a lot of fun. We decided to find the Paradise Cemetery in Paradise, AZ and here is the
"Road to Paradise"!!
We had already gone about 10 miles on a road just like this before we finally saw a sign that said "Paradise", so we determined that we weren't really lost after all!!!

And thankfully we weren't the only car on the road either - but this was the
only car we saw. At one of the wider spots in the road, he pulled over & we spoke to them. They were from Montana (my home state) & lived in Immigrant and they were also on the way to Paradise to see the cemetery!!

This "rattler" was in the road and I took the picture through a
closed window!

I don't think they were kidding when they put this sign on the road! When we stopped at a Cafe further down the road, they had a picture hanging in there of a big Semi on it's side and they said, yes, it was taken on this road!

Okay, there's the sign .... but where is the town??!!

There were several houses close together and after driving a little further on and not spotting the cemetery we pulled into this yard. The lady was out front. She has a "
Bed & 'cook your own' Breakfast" house to the left of hers above. There were 3 ladies staying there & the big drawing card here were all the birds she has coming to her property. They were just everywhere! This lady said she had lived in Glendive, MT - where I went to High School! Isn't this truly a small, small world? It was a Montana Day!

This is the local 'watch dog' - very friendly. There was also a long-haired, bushy-tailed cat in residence but she was more shy.

You can see a hummingbird to the left of the feeder - he's about 5 inches long.

And here's the Cemetery! The "Bird Lady" gave us directions.

Isn't this a cool memorial? I thought so.
