We took some time off from grave-walking & attended a "Blue Grass" (sort of) Fest in Maynardville, TN, where we are doing a lot of research work, too, on John's family. It was also a benefit for Cancer Research.
The 4-member band was "Shadow Ridge" - a very well-known group from this area and they were really, really good
The 3 young boys were excellent singing gospel together. The 2 on each end were twin brothers & the boy in the middle was their cousin. We really enjoyed them & talked to them a little afterwards.
I thought these horses were so beautiful that we took a ride in the wagon. They are Perchydons and the owner/driver was quite proud of them. He goes around to different events & gives rides & this wagon he had just finished building the night before - so we were among the very first to ride in it.

I would have loved to hear those three boys! They look so serious. How great if they keep it up and grow old singing together!?
