John is looking sad here because his favorite broom has had it!! But not to worry ... he has 2 others for backup. This one, however, was a favorite because we watched it being made at one of those working museums that had a broom maker working.
The Hyman Cemetery in Mitchell Co., Texas was beside this church which has seen much better days.
It's really hard to tell what's keeping it upright!
An interesting speciman of worm at this cemetery. It had rained the previous day & these guys were out in force.
These Texas Horny Toads were also all over the cemeteries in Texas.
.... just to prove they are really in the cemetery.
These colorful horny toads were at a little shop called the "Pottery Pig" ... all different sizes.
This is the one I chose to buy ... along with the little rooster that I couldn't resist.
