This cemetery is in a little town called Bouse, AZ and it was cold that day! Thomas Bouse, a prospector came to this area in 1889 from CA & ran a small store. He brought his family out & built a large 2-story home (only corner stones left now). In 1929 he was bit by a rattlesnake & died 23 hours later. We didn't find his stone in the cemetery, however. There were many unmarked graves there.We spent some time walking around the different tents at Quartzsite, AZ (looking for bargains) but didn't buy anything much. A lot of the tents were already closed down & people were moving on. The best time to be in Quartzsite is mid-Jan to mid-Feb.
