Moving right along ...........

We're moving right along on our way home. We just spent 2 days in Des Moines, Iowa. Weather is extremely hot here & of course, humid.

While in Moline, Illinois there were 3 days of rain - off & on. Gas prices here are $2.64! Maybe we'll stay awhile. No, I don't think so.

We've been spending a little time looking at new cars, thinking that when we get home, we'll buy a new one. Our little Tracker now has 80,000 miles on it & that seems to be a magic number to John that means - "it's time to trade". The car we've narrowed in on seems to be the new Honda CR-V and believe me we've looked at them all, it seems. Of course, if we get a new car now I want everything on it - GPS, AWD, etc, etc, etc!! John seems to be going along with that! But the prices are up there so maybe we'll hang onto the Tracker for 1 more year. Also, he hates to put a brand new, $30,000 car behind the motorhome to tow it. So we'll see what happens when we get home.
