In this "HOT" Illinois weather, the Loys decided to make their own slip 'n slide in a neighbors lawn that is gently sloping ... have water running out of a water tank (they went thru 3 tank loads, 3,000 gallons!), squirt on some cheap liquid soap, add a little girl and magic happens! Dad gave her a push at the top and she went all the way to the bottom on her belly.
The boys had to be macho, of course. He got in to the soap suds at the end & started strutting to the top!
Another happy surfer ......
Wyatt just wanted to play in the water at the top .....
..... but cousin, Ashley, decided he needed a ride to the bottom. He wasn't as thrilled as some of the others about it.
Even some of the "older" ones had to try it. She, however, got up too much speed and went off the end, hit the grass & tumbled a few times ... but she loved it.
... a race to the bottom.
Several babies there and they really only wanted to play in the running water. The 2 little girls in polka dots are twins, 17 mos old.
