We're still working on this large cemetery in Holdrege, NE & today the "grave lady" was there. Her name is Mona & she is part manager of this cemetery. She showed us how they sometimes have to "witch" for graves since there are many unmarked ones here. She said the best things to use is regular coat hangers but to show us she used these smaller wires & it worked for her. John tried it & they didn't work at all for him. But when I did I could feel a definite pull, although not as well as Mona.
She also told us that a lady in the area did witching & could even tell if the burial was male or female! Whether you believe it works or not .... it was fun to see! John said his Dad used to be able to "witch" for water in Illinois & it worked.
She was delighted to meet us & we her. She knew the 2 gentlemen who are putting in the names so meeting us made a full circle for entering names & photos in Find A Grave.
