More Rain ............

The corn that got planted here is doing very nicely as you can see from the bottom picture that was taken on 5/26. This one was taken yesterday - 6/11. It hasn't rained for 2 days so John's nephew finally got all his corn planted just yesterday except for just a few acres. Now today it's raining again!!!!!

Rain, rain .... please, please go away!!!

This is a picture of the Mississippi River at Grafton, Illinois (I was not there & did not take it!!) They expect flooding all along the Mississippi River in several states. Grafton is about 25 miles from here & they say the River will crest there on Sunday. The Grafton area is where they had a terrible, teriible flooding in 1994. We may be staying here a little longer than normal because we have to cross that Mississippi somewhere in order to go north & west.
