Earthquake!!!!!!

You may have heard there was a 5.6 earthquake near San Jose, CA on Tues. night about 8:00 p.m. Although we're a good 65 miles from there (as the crow flies), we are almost straight east. Both John & I were sitting in our easy chairs and we definitely felt it. We actually thought we had just 'pulled away from the shore'!! It was a very gentle motion that lasted a good 5 seconds - there was absolutely no mistaking what it was. From what I've heard there was not much structual damage & no injuries but lots of things falling off shelves. But we are fine. No pictures - you can't take a picture of an earthquake!
