I just finished reading the "Little House on the Prairie" series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I had bought this set at a garage sale years ago but never read them. I have no idea why I didn't! This past summer we were in South Dakota & only a few miles from De Smet. That's where the Ingalls ended up and a lot in the books are about that area. I kick myself now for not driving up there because there a museum there also.
For those of you who haven't read these books yet, it's a wonderful series & very easy reading for adults & kids alike.
