Museum ... Burros .... Date Shakes ... Puppies!!

On the way to the museum we spotted these parachute jumpers. We suspect they were practicing for the Air Show that was coming up the next weekend.

This one took a particular shine to John ....

John was almost ready to see if we could get this one into the Jeep to take home! He only left when we started moving. They have an overage of wild burros right now & in about a week they are having a Burro Roundup. Then they will take them to the fairground & offer them for adoptions.

Time for our annual "Date Shakes" - I, however, had a chocolate one.

Outside the date shake place were these darling puppies! The lady who worked there had her little daughters there & the pups were theirs - they would NOT let us take one of them but didn't mind that we played with them!
